SCOTCH EGGS



METHOD:
- Mash boiled potatoes with little butter , Salt & pepper. Ensure that it becomes a very smooth dough.
- Boil eggs, cool and shell. Keep them whole some
- Make a smooyh powder of the bread slices in a mixie
- Make some corn starch slurry, and set aside.
- Take a big size mound of the potato dough- ( size of a cricket ball.
- Flatten itv on the palm of your hand.
- Put the boiled egg in the centre and
- Cover the potato dough all around the egg and cover completel and tightly.
- Next, keep the corn starch and the bread.
- Dip the potato & egg ball into the corn starch mix, then roll in the bread crumbs.
- Set aside 15/20 min( to set well)
- Deep fry in hot oil, till its a golden in colour .
- Remove, on a tissue.
- Hold it tight with a cloth napkin , keeping it in an elongated position, cut into two vertical halves.
- Spread on a serving dish.
- It will look nice and smart, bold and beautiful.
- Dot the cenre with Tomato sauce
- And put a twig of fresh mint/ os some mint chutney in the centre.
- Itlooks so inviting
- Any age/ every age—All will just love it
Alternative Recipes:
(a)Use Mince meat mix in place of Potato mix (b) Use Meat mince mix in place of potato mix
