EMANCIPATION OF WOMEN PART -B

This blog is actually a continuation of Part -A which was published a week ago. If not read, please first read that and then read this..to get a full understanding of what im trying to say…..

In the last episode I talked about ADAM and EVE.
-It all sounds so rosy and nice, but what are the how’s and why’s of how slowly and steadily the woman picked up courage and strength in this overall male-dominated existence? Not much has really changed.
That’s why this very sensitive subject::::: IS ALWAYS IN THE NEWS!!!

We saw in my earlier Part A (of this topic, published nearly a week ago) how many women grew up as famous personalities/leaders, and even today so many are making a name for themselves!!!!

It all seems so rosy and calm

But is it really so????
While women have risen—while women have awakened—
While women have come to stay with uplifted foreheads and fortitude,

While women have taken leadership positions
The EGO
THE PSYCHE
OF THE MIND OF MAN HAS SLOWLY BEEN HURT

Some men have been misled; some have not shed their male PSEUDO ARROGANCE——
Those few —who have not been able to strike a balance
Those few who have not been able to ADJUST—
HAVE STRUCK!!
HAVE REVOLTED!!!!!
And then STRUCK BACK!!!!
(On the female, of course…)

In some cases the women have been at fault.
(I do not deny that, but that is yet another topic for yet another debate on YET ANOTHER DATE!!)

But on many an occasion, a woman has been so hurt.
–She has been struck, either physically or mentally or both.
She has been unnecessarily MALIGNED.
She has been taken for a RIDE.
She has been used.
She has been misused.
She has been abused!!
She has been deprived.

The LIST IS ENDLESS
Alas!!!!!!

If it were not so, what was the need for FEMALE FEMINISTS to have been born!
–Some NGOs to hold BLACK FLAG MARCHES
In silent protest, the National Commission to make waves///

Yes—despite it being the 21st millennium…. Despite there being so much of modernism in every sense of the word.
There is gross injustice to the woman!!! .

Women of all levels of literacy are being targeted. No level is being spared.
If we feel it is illiteracy and living in remote areas leading to deprivation —-and lead to a lack of knowledge of the RIGHT for women, then the hugely literate, highly professional, and highly placed —have also at times been SCAPEGOATS in the hands of MAN!

If a man sets his mind, he physically abuses her, as is rampant in the uneducated classes (jhuggis). –.
If he sets his mind to it, he emotionally blackmails her (semiliterate and lower middle classes are easy targets).
If he cannot do anything else, it is a SOCIAL BYCOTT and/or flaunting of his MACHO IMAGE. i.e., exploitation of the male supremacy by sheer sexual harassment;

I DO NOT HAVE TO PROVE A POINT!!
A peep into any one of the registers of the CRIME-WOMEN CELL NGO FLIES or NCW will give gory details.

I am NO man hater; I am no active feminist, but yes, I do feel for the women.
Don’t ask me the reason why.
It is just there—-
I feel it so.

I think I have spoken/written on this score a lot.
It may seem to you as POTS OF ROT.
I wonder if all this has made any sense.

The idea I feel like sharing is just this—–
While MAN is incomplete without his EVE, and the EVE is absolutely nothing without her ADAM, THEN
Why, why do we get into such PERMUTATIONS and COMBINATIONS of the mind, the complexities of LIFE, the ENTANGLEMENTS SO FULL OF STRIFE!!!

Why can we not follow the simple rule—the rule of KISS!!!!!
It is not what you might like to think about:
KISS—stands for >>>>>> KEEP IT SIMPLE —– S-T-U-P-I-D !!!

MAKE YOUR MAN YOUR BEST FRIEND.
As I mentioned earlier, he cannot think the way you can.
He is a simple person at heart; keep him devoid of entanglements!!!
He is FRAGILE at heart; treat him like CRYSTAL GLASS!!!
Treat him with TENDER LOVING CARE—–

I will quote an example:
I READ IN THE TIMES OF INDIA an excerpt—US president-elect Mr. George Bush once said about his wife, Laura,

“My fabulous first LADY!!!”

Why can’t our Indian men say something like this about their wives?
Why can’t they talk about us like this?

Why should our man say—Ah– Its OK—-gadii to chaalanee hai—chal to rahi hai…”

Or —He might just admit—
My wife—Sunita—she is an excellent hostess, a perfect mother.
(To himself he may acknowledge…) She is perfect in BED as well!!

But

But why is she awkward with my family?
Why???
Why do we women give him this opportunity??

Or

A SON may say:
My mother is the greatest!!!
No one can cook better than her.
She smothers everyone with overwhelming affection.

Par—

Par pata nahi unko kyaa ho jata hai –Mere BIWI ke saath?????????

This brings me to another BURNING ISSUE:
The peculiar relationship of a WOMAN with another woman!!

Why does one woman pull down the other?
Why does one woman backbite the other woman?

Be it in any form—-
FEMALE – SIBLING Rivalry
Mother-daughter rivalry
Saas-bahu Rivalry
Nanand-Bhabhi Rivalry.

Saas bahu is the most important!

But for today –I suppose it should suffice to say—

If we, as women, make an endeavor:
Be honest to ourselves- Be honest with others.
Respect ourselves——–Respect others.
Be proud of ourselves—be proud of each other.
Prioritize ourselves—prioritize each other.

Let’s make a commitment TODAY—
A Commitment to Ourselves The women of today

Just like———We have –
A Govt Of The People / for the people / By the people

Lets have a new Commitment—–

If we do this–
If we stand by this–
If we Vouch by this–
If we act by this—–

NO MAN CAN DO US APART—-
NO MAN CAN THEN HURT ANOTHER WOMAN.

Because-

UNITED WE STAND
And DIVIDED WE FALL!!!!

Let’s end with an agenda—-

We will not tolerate Abuse of any kind
You may not like your daughter-in-law.

The reason may be
mental, physical, social, or racial !
You may even hate her—
You may want nothing to do with her!!!

But you are still bound in a BIG BOND with her—-
The bond of being of the same SEX

She is a woman.
You are a woman!!

GOD_DAMMIT!!—Isn’t it reason enough to stand with her/stand by her!

LET’S JOIN HANDS—TODAY
LET’S JOIN HANDS AS OF NOW.

Let’s hold an OLIVE BRANCH OF WOMANHOOD!!!!

Let me not leave before adding—-
That if we can put aside our petty jealousies/envies of woman against another woman, then and only then

We can say that we have ACHIEVED!!—

We have ARRIVED !!!!

Let me remind you that it is because of all the efforts of hundreds of like-minded people that the
The Women’s Reservation Bill, — officially the Constitution (106th Amendment) Act, 2023
(or Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam) was eventually passed in Sept 2023 to reserve 33% of seats for women in the LOK SABHA, state legislative assemblies, and the Delhi assembly.

Remember, it’s all about
SOLIDARITY / UNITY / INTEGRITY / OF Women

Really—why did we let it happen?????

Who wrote the GRANTHAS?——————-MAN of course!!
Who WROTE the SHASTRAS??——————-MAN of course!!

We could not do anything then—(……….. period)

But,

Who will do it NOW???

I mean NO HARM TO NO ONE.

BUT REMEMBER:

Woman to Woman——We will rule.

Woman divided by woman—-We will get ruled.
