Dear friends,

Seems like I’m getting used to apologising to u ever so often;

My problem is I do not know effectively , how to transfer this data onto the word press. I ghet stumped.

Bit Im trying to learn. Please bear with me.

I now present before you , another set of my home favourites:

Soup: Fresh Almond Soup

Salad:Raw papaya Salad

Snax:   Mock Shak Shuka

                                 

 

BADAM SOUP/ FRESH ALMOND SOUP

Method:

1.Do  as instructed in Point 1 of Pictorial and make a smooth paste of Almonds with 50 ml of water.

2. See to it that the amount of badam paste, Water and Milk are all of same quantity.

3.Take water and said quantity  of milk and allow to simmer for 4/5 min over a low flame.

4. Now gently fold in the badam paste into the pan and gently swirl and twirl. Now let this also simmer for another5/6 minutes.

 5. Fold in the corn starch solution to act as a mild thickening agent.

6. Add a blob of butter, sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper , Our fresh almond soup is absolutely ready.

7.Serve it sizzling hot garnished with slivers of almonds and hand torn fresh mint.

( fresh mint should be ideally hand torn into bits, and then spread over edible stuff, this act enables the aroma to spread faster n wider.)

Most people have not heard of this soup.

Its just fantastic!!!!

It’s a top hit amongst Army echelon. And normally a chosen soup when we have V.V I.P guests.

Importance:

We know the value of Almonds.

    Friends.                                              

It’s a rare soup, please serve only to soup lovers!!!

They will keep clamouring for more.

RAW PAPAYA SALAD

Method:

1.Take the peeled papaya and grate with a grates to make cylindrical stands. Now wrap them in a damp cloth & chill in fridge x 10/1  5 minutes

2.Take the Soya sauce/ Lime juice & shakkar. Mix them together gently and allow to REST xx 15 minutes.

3.Keep every thing absolutely ready.

4.Just before serving., Mix all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl along with the spices & condiments.

5.Now add the rested special magical sauce that I mentioned to u just now. Toss it gently.

 6.Serve in a nice platter and garnish with my  ultra smart  topping—The famous Bikaneri  Bhujia.

You will love it.

MOCK SHAK SHUKA IN A JIFFY

Method:

1.Take the concentric circles of potatoes and spread them on the flat frying poan and cover till half done.

2.Now spread the diced veggies, sprinkle little salt and cover till ha;f done.

3.Now take the three beaten eggs, add salt/ pepper/ red paprika , whisk well and spread evenly over the veggies.

4.Care to be taken to spread all beaten egg mixture to cover all veggies.

.5Cover and cook till eggs are well settled.

6.Spread the mint/ fresh diced coriander and top with grated cheese.

7.Again, cover x 2/3 minutes.

The MOCK SHAK SHUKA is DONE!!!

8.carry the cooked shak shuks in the same cooking dish.
